Al-Ashraq National School, Nintavur Student Wins Gold at National Level
Today, at the National Level Muslim Cultural Competition-2024 held at Zahira College, Colombo, organized by the Ministry of Education, our student from Al-Ashraq National School, Umar Ali Abdul Nabi Ali, has won the first place and a gold medal in the Adhan recitation competition. Alhamdulillah We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the victorious student. We also express our gratitude to the teachers who trained him, the Deputy Principal Mr. MM. Uwais who coordinated the extracurricular activities, and the parents who guided and supported him. We thank all the well-wishers who contributed to this success.
Today, during Maghrib prayer, the Adhan recited by our student Umar Ali Abdul Nabi Ali, who won gold at the National Level Muslim Cultural Competition-2024, was broadcasted in the hall. Alhamdulillah
Outstanding Performance in Kabaddi
On July 16 and 17, 2024, Al-Ashraq National School's 17 and 20-year-old kabaddi teams participated in the provincial level matches held at Nintavur Public Sports Ground. Competing against other schools from the Eastern Province, both teams demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning silver medals and securing their place at the national level. Al-Ashraq National School students displayed exceptional mathematical expertise at the 2024 district-level math quiz, standing out in a fiercely competitive field. Competing against schools across the district, our students secured prestigious merit awards, with Shaheemul Zairi and Hafna earning top positions. Their success is a testament to their analytical skills and commitment to excellence.
