HIGHLIGHTS
The Badge-Raising Ceremony for the newly appointed Junior Leaders, Senior Leaders, and Student Leaders of the School Traffic Safety Section for the year 2026 was successfully held on 12 June 2026 at Km/Km/Al Ashraq M.V. National School, Nintavur.
In line with the guidance of the Presidential Secretariat and under the CLEAN SRI LANKA initiative, the Environmental Club of Km/Km/Al-Ashraq M.M.V. (National School) successfully organized the awareness programme "A Memo to the Nature" on 05 June 2026 at the school premises in celebration of World Environment Day 2026.
Demonstrating the true spirit of unity in diversity, Km/Km/Al Ashraq M.M.V. (National School) successfully organized the "Multicultural Development and Social Integration Programme" on 05 June 2026 under the guidance and leadership of the Principal, Mr. A. Abdul Gaffoor, and the coordination of the School Cultural Committee.
In observance of World Environment Day 2026, a special Environmental Pledge Ceremony was conducted at Km/Km/Al Ashraq M.M.V. (National School) with the active participation of students and teachers.
The program aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and inspire the school community to take an active role in protecting the environment. During the ceremony, students and teachers collectively took the environmental pledge, reaffirming their commitment to preserving nature, maintaining cleanliness, reducing pollution, and promoting sustainable practices in their daily lives.
The event served as a meaningful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the Earth and its natural resources. It encouraged participants to become environmentally conscious citizens and to contribute towards building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

With immense pride and gratitude, Km/Km/Al-Ashraq M.M.V. (National School), Nintavur, emerged as the Overall Champion at the Kalmunai Zonal Athletics Championship 2026, held on 20th and 21st June 2026 at the Wesley High School Grounds, Kalmunai.
Km/Km/Al-Ashraq M.M.V. (National School), Nintavur has once again demonstrated its outstanding sporting excellence by emerging as the most successful school at the Nintavur Divisional Inter-School Athletics Championship 2026, held last week.
