The 3rd Asian Youth Kabaddi Championship will be held in Bahrain from the 22nd to the 31st of this month.
We are proud to announce that three students from our Nintavur Al-Ashraq National School — Mas. F. M. Niyaf Zaiyni, Mas. R. M. Milhan Mahi, and Mas. S. M. Samry — have been selected to represent Sri Lanka in the National Youth Kabaddi Team for this prestigious tournament. They will be departing for Bahrain tomorrow. Alhamdulillah!

To congratulate and felicitate these talented students, our esteemed Member of Parliament, Hon. Ashraf Tahir, visited our school today. During his visit, he met with the students, Principal, Deputy Principals, Management Committee members, Sports Teachers, and the trainers who guided the players. Hon. Ashraf Tahir personally congratulated the instructors and honored the players by presenting them with special gifts.

He also discussed the academic, non-academic, and infrastructural challenges currently faced by the school and inspected the dilapidated classroom building, assuring that steps will be taken to resolve these issues soon.

The Al-Ashraq community proudly extends its heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to Hon. Ashraf Tahir, Member of Parliament, for his valuable visit and for honoring our students with his presence today.
